This solution is for the Beekeeping industry in New Zealand and can be applied 3 times for maximum effect.

1) Nikau Palm, green fronds 1 frond, ribs and stem wrap only; cut into small pieces.
2) Hebe flowers, 1 hand full
3) Ginger flower, 1 plants flower
4) Salt water, 20 litres

Methodology:

For the second time in 2 weeks thieves have struck in the Waioeka Gorge area between Opotiki and Gisborne in the Eastern Bay of Plenty.
2 weeks ago it was hives belonging to Grant and Brenda Stanley now it is honey supers, lids, excluders and honey belonging to Hikutaia Honey.

The honey supers are reasonably distinctive so please keep an eye out. We believe the thieves are operating with a ute and this amount of honey is likely to be extracted in commercial or semi commercial premises.
